A report which seeks to identify the key factors contributing to instability in Abyei and to identify actions that can be taken by the key domestic actors and the international community to begin to reduce tension and resolve the conflict.
A new MSF report - “Greater Upper Nile, Southern Sudan: Immediate health needs remain amid a precarious peace”
In this report, published to mark the third anniversary of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement, we assess the progress of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement with a focus on what needs to be done to create the conditions for free, fair, and meaningful elections. This is a national question and the report looks at North and South Sudan, Darfur and further discusses Eastern Sudan, long a concern of the Group.
David Drew MP briefly announced the Sudan APG report before Baroness Cox presented her findings direct from a three week visit to South Sudan.
